Wood Rot

I am new at this venture so forgive my ignorance on the matter.

I have a 41ft 1962 Chris Craft that has soft spots and wood rot about a foot from the bilge.

It is Sunday and the boat has to go back in the water on Tuesday.

It will be March before it can be taken to the shop for repairs.

What can I do to prevent more damage that is fast?

Git Rot

You could try "Git Rot".

But bear in mind that it will only be a temporary fix.

The sooner the rot is cut out and treated properly the better as the rotting process may continue beyond the penetration area of the Git Rot.
