Salt to Fresh

It shouldn’t be Carl.

The salt in seawater does help to protect the wood from rot but only in the wetted areas.

Of course it does depend on the type of boat and how long she is going to be left in the water.

One thing you might want to consider is changing the anodes from zinc to magnesium or an alloy of aluminium, zinc and indium.
