Rosie's Story

I purchased a 14 ft runabout which needs a bit of work.

Hi Dennis,

Well Rosie looks real good as she is.

Is there much needs to be done to her?

I hope you will come back and let us know how you are getting on with the work.

Have fun.

Thanks Mike.

I am waiting for a book from DT Press to arrive.

The transom has some rot near the hull, and I plan on replacing it.

I purchased the solid Honduras Mahogany and the bronze fasteners.

I would appreciate any good insight in this area of restoration, from someone who has "been there done that".

I have been working with Dr Rot on the product I will need to preserve her.

I only hope I can get her back to her glorious form on the water.

I had the pleasure of launching her only 4 times before deciding that she needs attention.
