Matida 8m wooden swingkeel sloop, c. 1998

by Alan Kenworthy
(Heywood, UK)

Fine example of East Anglian craftsmanship, ready to sail, no maintenance problems with this yacht, it is in pristine condition.

Will need only an outboard bracket.

Bargain price for yacht and triple axle trailer, £2600.

Conventional layout like a Westerly Centaur, but interior is gorgeous, high quality woodwork.

Plywood on frames, two chines.

Stainless push- and pulpits, safety rail.

6 hp outboard, serviced.

Fitted liveaboard.

This was someone's pride and joy.

I must sell her, I can't sail any more.

I am perfectly aware that the majority of Wooden Boat aficionados are sensible folk.

And while I take every care to ensure that the information in DIY Wood is correct, anyone acting on the information on this website does so at their own risk.
