Great place for the committed boater (and let's face it, most of us deserve to be committed)

What a great place to view the wonderful projects of boat enthusiasts from around the world, a truly inspirational website for those who love messing about with small craft.

Do have a look at both the UKHBBR site and Muskoka Sea Flea, a Canadian website for the small hydroplane enthusiast.

Both of these sites have very enthusiastic followers, and the some of the HBBR guys (I am one of the original first members) have built boats which are so beautiful that they deserve to be hung as art objects when not in the water!

Happy new year to everybody,

I am perfectly aware that the majority of Wooden Boat aficionados are sensible folk.
However, I need to point out that I am an amateur wooden boat enthusiast simply writing in order to try to help other amateur wooden boat enthusiasts.
And while I take every care to ensure that the information in DIY Wood is correct, anyone acting on the information on this website does so at their own risk.
