Cedar strip canoe

by Dennis

I need to get fiberglass.

I'm using 6oz Eglass.

Do I need to pay attention to type of weave, thickness?

And is all glass compatible to West system epoxy?

E Glass Matt
by: Mike

E Glass matt is the most commonly used for this kind of sheathing.

With "Matt" the chopped glass strands give unidirectional strength and it will conform to the
shape easily when wetted out.

The weight is an indication of the thickness, '6oz' is the weight of a square yard.

Glass is inert so it can be used with any resin.
