Remodel my large wood boat in the Bahamas?

by Captain Chuck

Any good boat yards in the Bahamas that have cheap labor.

Or how can I legally get into Cuba to get work done?

Thanks.

Chuck

Where can I get my 60' wood boat rebuilt. Cuba, Haiti, Honduras, where?

by Captain Chuck
(Biloxi, Mississippi)

We want to rebuild our boat 60' was a commercial fishing passenger boat want to make it a nice live aboard.

Where can we get good work done low cost.

Can we go to Cuba from the U.S. Haiti, Nicaragua, Honduras.

It is hard to get good information on where to go.

I hear there are good craftsmen out there in these low income countries, but I get no feedback as to best place to go that is also the safest.

Please any help appreciated.

We are 71 and 77 and want to coastal cruise after getting our boat remodeled, thanks.

Photos on our other computer will change them over one of these days, thanks.

P.S. Our first choice would be Cuba since it is close then we can proceed after that to Central America.

BUT, can we get in and get the work done there? thanks.

IS THERE A WAY I CAN I TAKE MY 60' WOODEN VESSEL FOR RESTORE IN CUBA

by Captain Chuck
(Biloxi, Mississippi)

HI. I'm 71 and want to restore my 1967 60' wooden boat.

I have heard the price for labor is cheap in Cuba and can get my vessel restored that I can afford.

Then we can cruise Central America.

How can we do this?

We are U.S. citizens, but will be cruising in Central for possible the rest of our lives.

Thanks for any real (been there done that) knowledgeable help.
