South Australian Wooden Boat Building

After sitting for 25 years at Mount Gambier, the replica Lady Nelson brig will be docked in Flagstaff Hill, Warrnambool, Victoria for a major reconstruction, which could herald the start of a new boat building industry.

The International Boatbuilding Training College in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, UK, is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan to cash in on the growing interest in traditional boatbuilding skills and Classic Wooden Boats.

New facility for CWB Seattle

The Center for Wooden Boats' newest location is at the north end of Lake Union. 
Is hoped to be a new point of access to the water for neighbourhoods to the North of Lake where people can work on their boats and get involved in restoration and repair of heritage vessels.
